Student Leaders Take The Lead For Our Furry Friends
Recently, our student leader group decided that our furry friends needed some love and so organised an event to support the SPCA. What a huge success it was.
The school has received a certificate of appreciation for the children’s efforts.

Hazel recently ran in the inter-regional cross country in Christchurch and gained an amazing 10th place. So proud of you Hazel!
The inter-regional cross country features the top Year 5 runners from Wellington, Canterbury and of course Tasman.
Well done.
Winners are Grinners.
Well done to our ski team winning the Junior Top of the South boys team race! James won the individual race too! Go The Terrace.
Open Night Was a Shoe Stomping Event
Recently we had our Open Night so that children could show off their learning. The Middle Syndicate put on a folk dance display. Nice work kids!
Olive Oil On The Terrace Makes a Come Back!
CTS produces its own olive oil!
Prior to Covid we picked our olives and had them pressed to create the famous in Nelson, Stan’s Virgin Olive Oil. However, it has since been renamed Clifton Kids Extra Virgin Olive Oil. Stan was our caretaker at CTS many years ago and he was an initiator of the olive oil project here at CTS.
During Covid, it became difficult to make production happen. It was so famous it even made it into one of the School Journals back in 2013! Now in 2023, it’s back and there is still some available!
